I’m thrilled to announce that Synack’s premier security testing platform is now available on the Azure Cloud Marketplace. This landmark listing clears the way for more security teams to deploy Synack’s Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS) for on-demand and continuous pentesting and vulnerability management, with access to Synack’s team of 1,500+ global security researchers.

The agility of cloud environments makes their critical assets prime targets. As more organizations rely on cloud technology like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), attackers are on the lookout for any backdoors, vulnerabilities or misconfigurations. Pentesting cloud environments is essential for any mature security program, but finding the right partner for this task can be overwhelming in a crowded security market.

That’s why Synack’s presence on the Azure Cloud Marketplace is so important. This Microsoft hub allows organizations to find solutions that are a vetted fit for their existing cloud services provider, taking a lot of the pain out of procurement. And as Microsoft itself points out, organizations using the marketplace can optimize their committed Azure cloud budgets, efficiently allocating spend before it falls prey to “use it or lose it” budget cycles. According to an April 2023 survey by Canalys Global Technology, over half of customers surveyed worldwide have said they are either highly or somewhat likely to buy through one of the top three hyperscaler marketplaces.

Synack’s debut on Azure Cloud Marketplace sends a strong signal to the market that we are ready to scale up transactions with faster deals and streamlined contracts. It further reflects our commitment to deliver the best pentesting to organizations worldwide, bridging the cyber talent gap by leveraging an external community of testers through the trusted Synack Red Team. The Synack Platform enables organizations to manage their entire vulnerability lifecycle for pentesting, delivering an environment where all testing activities can be monitored and controlled.

This milestone in our cloud marketplace strategy further advances our relationship with Microsoft. Synack already integrates with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure DevOps. Stay tuned for Synack’s presence at this year’s Microsoft Ignite conference in November, where we’ll share more on our collective efforts to move the dial on AI security.
