Bruce Kang

Bruce Kang is a former Associate Security Operations Engineer and Security Researcher at Synack, where he contributed to the Exploits Explained series, breaking down vulnerabilities like Broken Access Control and Cryptographic Failures from the OWASP Top 10. He holds a background in Information Technology with a focus on Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from the University of Washington Tacoma, and has since gone on to work in offensive security roles at Praetorian, where he currently serves as a Senior Security Engineer. Bruce holds the OSCE3 and OSCP certifications and has published CVE research, including a stored XSS vulnerability disclosed in Apache Superset.
