Lea Kissner, CISO of LinkedIn, started their career in experimental robotics before shifting into security and privacy leadership roles at companies including Google and Lacework. As the lead security decisionmaker at a major social media company, Lea ensures LinkedIn’s team has the skills and data needed to combat ever-changing threats.

Tune into the Season 4 premiere of WE’RE IN!, where Lea also shares their thoughts on the human element in cybersecurity, the future of AI-based attacks and how a well-run security team can earn a better reputation in a large enterprise.

“If we come in with this mindset of, ‘we have the same problems for slightly different reasons,’ we can go and build better systems,” they said. “It becomes a lot easier for everybody. But also the security team becomes very popular because we show up and help [developers] solve problems that they’re maybe not equipped to or don’t have the time to solve on their own.”
